SALTER POINT

Ideally located on the banks of the Canning River, Salter Point is a largely undiscovered secret, with a real sense of community, and the feel of a country town on the doorstep of the City.

Bound by the Canning River to the east, south and west, the suburb is located on a peninsula of land originally owned by the Christian Brothers as part of Aquinas College, and subdivided in various stages with the most recent subdivision being that of the old “Mount Henry Hospital” site into a collection of medium size lots.

With a mix of properties from riverside mansions through to 2 bedroom 1970’s duplex homes, and modern designer homes, there really is something for everyone.

Local schools include Aquinas College, St Pius X Catholic School, and Manning Primary School, as well as nearby Penrhos Ladies College, Como Secondary College and Curtin University.

There is an abundance of public open space, riverside parkland, and shopping at nearby Welwyn Avenue or Village Green shopping centres. And all this just a few minutes drive from the city centre, via Manning Road and Kwinana Freeway. Your riverside lifestyle awaits!
